EP 501 A Foolproof Coffee Business Plan (The Daily Coffee Pro Podcast by MAP IT FORWARD)

Often when we think of a business plan we think of charts and tables and numbers etc. that are used to secure capital with banks and/or investors to start the business. Once they've served their initial purpose, they're often never revised or revisited.

A foolproof business plan is one that is revised annually. It anticipates and adapts to changes in the elements of being in business - financials (capital, cash flow, banking, taxes, etc), e-commerce, sales strategies, customer acquisition planning, product fulfillment strategies, marketing and social media, workplace culture, and so much more.

The coffee supply chain has been especially volatile in the past few years and gets increasingly more sensitive to extenuating factors as the months go by. With so many influences on our industry shifting rapidly, now is the time to make sure you implement a business plan if you don't have one, and if revisit it if you do have one.
