Upcoming MAP IT FORWARD Workshops (April 2018) in Seattle

Our event last Sunday ‘Mapping A Career and Business In Wholesale Roasted Coffee Sales’ (Tickets still available to view the live stream till Sunday 11.59pm PT) was a great success with the exploration of a tonne of information for professionals and business owners who attended. We followed the detailed map we created that outlines the three phases Puppy Years, The Mid Career Years, and the Pro years of the 10 year map, and couldn’t be more thrilled how much our attendees got out of the experience. Thank you to everyone who attended in person and virtually. If you’re missed attending live and wanted to watch it, please click here to get your tickets and details on how to watch online.

Our next workshops will happen a day apart from each other in Seattle, Washington at the same time as the SCA Expo.

The first event will be on Friday, April 20th 3-6pm ‘How To Map A Successful 10-Year Career As A Barista’. Our mentors for this event are Lee Safar (Elixir Specialty Coffee) and Jared Truby (Cat and Cloud Coffee). Collectively they have decades of experience between them and have witnessed the evolution of the coffee industry around the world in that time. Having worked in barista positions over many years in a variety of settings and countries, Jared and Lee have now gone on to become owners of multiple businesses and known as progressive entrepreneurs innovating in the coffee industry. Tickets and details on how to attend this event in person or virtually are available here or click on the event poster below. The video for this event will be available for 7 days after the event has concluded.

Our second event will run on Saturday, April 21st 3-6pm ‘How To Map A Successful Career and Business As A Coffee Roaster’ and our mentors for this event will be Lee Safar and Scott Rao  This is the second time this event had been offered and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Scott join us again to share his infinite wisdom on the subject. Judging from the success of the first one, it’s not to be missed if you’re looking at becoming a coffee roaster or building a Roasting (wholesale and/or retail) business. Tickets and details on how to attend this event in person or virtually are available here or click on the event poster below. The video for this event will be available for 7 days after the event has concluded. (p.s don’t miss Scott's 3 roasters masterclasses also happening in Seattle).
